Welcome to the Spinal Injuries Association
At the Spinal Injuries Association, we believe in rebuilding lives, promoting independence and preventing injuries. As Queensland’s peak body for people with a spinal cord injury, and for people with the late effects of polio, we provide a range of high quality services that empower our members and clients either in their homes, at the workplace or in the community.

The Association is proud to be a Quality Assured, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation, representing thousands of members and clients around the state. Our offices are located in Brisbane and Townsville. Read more about us …

Council cares about safety
Brisbane City Council staff, who recently participated in the Association’s SEAT at WORK program, said they were surprised and shocked by the number of spinal cord injuries that occur each year and statistics showing Queensland as having the second highest rate of work-related spinal cord injuries.

The Association sincerely appreciates Brisbane City Council’s support of SEAT at WORK.
