Greg is one of Australia’s sporting greats, playing for the Wallabies from 1974 to 1982. Greg first became involved with Spinal Life Australia more than 10 years ago, having seen firsthand the repercussions of life-long spinal injuries.
Over the past decade, Greg has attended countless SEAT Community Safety Program presentations, where he speaks to students about his background as a Wallabies great, and how important the SEAT message is to carry with you throughout life.
Bill is a former Wallaby great who has lent his face, name and profile to our organisation since 2002. His support is in the memory of his mother, Jean Ross, who was instrumental in establishing Backstop, a respite centre for families of boys who had sustained spinal injuries while playing rugby union.
Bill is the main organiser of the extremely successful Classic Wallabies Lunch. He has also been instrumental in ensuring we became the beneficiary of annual Vintage Reds luncheons and golf days.
Our patron is His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland, who will support our organisation for the duration of his term.
We are honoured His Excellency has chosen to support our mission to enhance the lives of people with a spinal injury and promote their independence.
