Disability Doesn’t Discriminate, but the Government does. Turn 65 and sustain a disability, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) – meant to be your safety net – doesn’t cover you.
Also excluded are Australians who were over 65 and living with a disability when the NDIS was implemented.
It is discrimination that could impact you, your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, or anyone you love. We need your help to end this.
At Spinal Life we’ve been advocating on this issue, raising awareness and lobbying the Government to stop this blatant form of discrimination. We’ve made some good progress, but we still have a long way to go and need your help to get there.
We think this issue is very important and should be talked about in the coming federal election.
We have exhausted our funds to conduct more paid promotion. That’s why we’re turning to other organisations, our individual supporters, and the wider community, asking for any donations to help us carry out more TV and digital advertising to end age discrimination now.
If you can help, please donate below. These funds will only be used on advertising to raise awareness about the DDD campaign.
