Rohan Sills: I was working on a construction site and had a fall which ended up being a severe injury. It’s a shock that you don’t ever expect anyone to tell you, basically, that you’re going to spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair. A lot of times there I didn’t think I was going to be able to cope.
Rohan: With a lot of determination and motivation, I was able to push myself to get out of those dark times, but it was very hard for me to do.
Rohan: I first came into contact with Spinal Life Australia when I met Pete Harre from Peer Support. It’s been great to talk to Pete because he’s lived the experience and he’s been through all this before. He’s been able to motivate me to achieve a lot of my goals.
Rohan: Donations are important to Spinal Life Australia because, without the Peer Support program and Back2Work, a lot of people in my situation would struggle. And, it’s great to know that I’ll have that support going into the future with Spinal Life Australia.
