Vehicle modifications and funding options for drivers and passengers with a disability will be the focus of our second 2017 lifestyle forum in December.
Driver Trained Occupational Therapist Patricia Pacheco will be sharing her insights on vehicle modification options and information on funding, such as the Queensland Government’s Vehicle Options Subsidy Scheme (VOSS).
VOSS is Queensland Government scheme that offers financial assistance for people with a disability to buy or modify a private vehicle.
This will be the second and final lifestyle forum of the year after the success of the first, which was held in September with the theme of ‘Happy Healthy Shoulders’.
The forum is free to attend and will be held on Thursday, 7 December from 5.30pm at Spinal Life Australia’s Brisbane office.
Attendees are requested to RSVP by 30 November, click here to register.
