We’re excited to meet with and hear from world leaders in spinal injury research as the 2017 ANZSCoS Annual Scientific Meeting begins today.
The event is Australia’s biggest spinal cord injury conference and Spinal Life Australia is closely involved as the Platinum Sponsor.
Expert researchers and speakers from Australia, New Zealand and around the world will discuss developments in spinal cord injury research, management and rehabilitation for the next three days at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Topics covered will include access to rehabilitation, navigating the NDIS and the history of the scheme, optimising vocational outcomes and what we can learn from the Canadian health system’s treatment options for people with a spinal cord injury, among others.
Spinal Life will be hosting a display at the event to showcase our own work in supporting people with a spinal injury and our team will be attending a number of informative talks and workshops throughout the conference.
ANZSCoS, the Australian and New Zealand Spinal Cord Society, is a non-profit organisation formed to promote quality management of people with spinal cord injuries throughout Australia and New Zealand.
