Toowoomba customers will now be able to access Spinal Life Australia’s services closer to home, with the opening of a dedicated space in the region.
The organisation’s Personal Support and Home Care Service will operate from the office, with a Client Service Officer available for appointments.
Specialist Allied Health services will also be on offer at the site with scheduled visits from an Occupational Therapist to provide assessments and advice.
Spinal Life Chief Executive Officer Michael Powell said the Toowoomba office would also support NDIS participants, with the scheme beginning in the region in January this year.
“This new space will reduce the need for our customers to travel to Brisbane to access much-needed services,” he said.
“We’re delighted to be able to increase our presence in the region, and we’re looking forward to becoming a bigger part of the Toowoomba community.”
The new space in Toowoomba forms part of a wider expansion strategy that includes the $12 million Spinal Life Health Living Centre in Cairns, which begins construction soon.
“Our new Bundaberg office is now open, and Rockhampton will open soon, in addition to our Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns offices which currently provide services across the state,” Mr Powell said.
The Toowoomba office is located at 10 Russell Street within the MS Queensland office, and is currently open by appointment only.
