Spinal Life Australia and the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation today announced a new sponsorship to promote the Foundation’s initiatives and support the research agenda on finding a cure for spinal cord injuries.
Spinal Life Australia Chief Executive Officer Michael Powell welcomed the partnership saying, “We look forward to supporting Perry and strengthening our ties with the Foundation.”
“Collaborating with a research-focused organisation like the Foundation will allow us to provide more up-to-date information to our members and clients and increase their engagement with current research activities.”
Spinal Life Australia Chairman Alan Ashford said, “Research into finding a cure for paralysis is a key of interest to us all and we recognise that it will take time, money and dedication to eventually find it.”
“On a daily basis we work with thousands of clients who have experienced a traumatic spinal cord injury. We understand deeply their hopes and aspirations and the will to continue to live an engaged life.”
The Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation President, Perry Cross is delighted by the sponsorship and believes collaboration is key to finding a cure.
“It is an exciting time for spinal research and we are very pleased to be teaming up with Spinal Life to advance the prospect of finding a cure for paralysis for all.”
“Our aim is to improve the quality of life for people with spinal injuries and a collaborative approach will only enhance the effort.”
Spinal Life Australia is inspired by Perry’s motto, “Everything is Possible” and will work closely with the Perry Cross Research Foundation over the next twelve months to create awareness, educate people on the risks that can result in a spinal cord injury and support research to find a cure for paralysis.
