Spinal Life Australia’s Back2Work program provides early intervention vocational rehabilitation for people with a newly acquired spinal cord injury, or damage.
We can assist with:
- Returning to work
- Exploring study options
- Discovering a new job or career
- Retraining and exploring new courses
- Supporting your employer for your return to work
Our no-pressure approach can help you identify your skills and interests, and match these to jobs that you might enjoy and be good at.
We can also assist you to look at long term pathways to work. Everyone’s situation is different, and the Back2Work team can help when you are ready.

Research has shown that people who return to work and other meaningful activities in a timely, safe and sustainable way after a serious injury experience financial, social, psychological and physical benefits.
Spinal Life Australia’s Back2Work program is offered to patients with newly acquired spinal cord injury, or damage. We work with an array of Queensland hospitals and practitioners as well as all the major funding bodies.
