SEAT program
The Spinal Education Awareness Team (SEAT) program is an award-winning, highly respected injury prevention program which has been presented in Queensland schools for more than 20 years. SEAT is an Education Queensland accredited program and has reached more than 1.3 million children in metropolitan and regional areas throughout the state.
SEAT at WORK is a new injury prevention program for the workplace. We visit work sites, training rooms and boardrooms and speak to staff about the consequences of acquiring a work-place injury, what it means to your company, your work-mates, your family and you.
Our presenters are men and women who have a spinal cord injury and use a wheelchair. They bravely share how their accidents happened, how their lives have turned upside down and how they overcome obstacles and community attitudes on a daily basis.
