Spinal Injuries Networks

Shared experiences, information, advocacy and support for people who have a spinal cord injury.

The Spinal Injuries Networks are led by volunteer Facilitators who are members of Spinal Injuries Australia, with Member Network gatherings open to everyone. The Spinal Injuries Networks operate in Brisbane, Bundaberg, Burdekin/Bowen, Far North Queensland, Fraser Coast, Mackay, Moreton Bay, Rockhampton and Toowoomba.

The networks gather regularly in their regions and enable people to meet their peers for information, advocacy and support.  Most networks have regular guest speakers and a wide variety of topics are addressed. The networks are a valuable focal point of contact for members in their region.  The networks engage in advocacy and networking with the wider community to promote inclusive communities.

If you would like further information or are interested in joining a network in your area, please contact Spinal Injuries Australia’s Coordinator – Member Networks on or Freecall (within Queensland) 1800 810 513 or (07) 3391 2044.
