Manual Handling course dates for 2011

Please note, these manual handling courses are for employees of the Spinal Injuries Association only.

In accordance with the terms and conditions of employment with the Spinal Injuries Association, it is mandatory for all staff to attend Manual Handling refresher training sessions on an annual basis.

Each session runs for two hours and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) are paid normal ordinary hourly rates to attend. Personal Support Plus covers the cost of the training.

If it has been twelve months or more since your last manual handling course or twelve months since you attended the three day PCA course, it’s necessary for you to attend one of the 2011 sessions listed below:

  • February - 10,23,24
  • March - 17,18,24
  • April – 14,28,29
  • May - 12,18,19
  • June – 22,23,24
  • July - 14,21,22
  • August – 11,12,25
  • September – 8,14,15
  • October – 20,21,27
  • November – 16,17,25
  • December - 18,12,13
