Information
The Association’s Information Service collects and makes available a wide range of information relating to spinal cord injury and the late effects of polio.
The service is available to Association members; their families, friends and carers; community service workers; professionals; students and the general community.
We can help you with any queries you may have relating to living with a physical disability. This may include community services and supports, holiday accommodation, aids and equipment, and building requirements for mobility access.
Library service
Our library stocks a range of materials and resources that are available for members to borrow.
These resources include books, journals, videos and DVDs, audio tapes and CDs, brochures, pamphlets and presentations, and provide a wealth of information on:
- access
- advocacy
- aids and equipment
- community services
- general disability
- government services and schemes
- holiday accommodation
- independent living
- late effects of polio
- recreation and sport
- spinal cord injury
- transverse myelitis.
