Information

The Association’s Information Service collects and makes available a wide range of information relating to spinal cord injury and the late effects of polio.

The service is available to Association members; their families, friends and carers; community service workers; professionals; students and the general community.

We can help you with any queries you may have relating to living with a physical disability. This may include community services and supports, holiday accommodation, aids and equipment, and building requirements for mobility access.

Testimonial

When member Sue Kinsella began planning her recent North Queensland holiday, she enlisted the help of the Information Service:

“I phoned Marion Webb, at the Information Service, and asked if the Association had a list of suitable places to stay. I loaned the book “Easy Access Australia” from the Information Service library, which proved well worth the read.”
