Bundaberg man and Association member, Richard Baldry, recently received the perfect Father’s Day gift after being crowned Queensland’s Father of the Year.
Richard is the proud and loving father of 15 foster or adopted children (aged two to 32) and has eight grandchildren.
His 20-year-old daughter, Samantha Woodgate, nominated him for Queensland Father of the Year.
Richard has been using a wheelchair for the past 38 years after sustaining paraplegia when he injured his spinal cord in an accident at work.
