One of rugby’s most endearing characters invites you to lunch
One of Australia’s most legendary rugby union coaches, who also mixed the sound for prolific films such as Picnic at Hanging Rock, Gallipoli and Phar Lap, will delight audiences at Brownies Sports Luncheon on July 11 to help raise funds for the Spinal Injuries Association.
Peter “Fab” Fenton played more than 200 minor grade games for Parramatta, before coaching countless successful union teams for more than 20 years. Publishing the first of eight books book in 1992, Peter is also renowned for his work on the sound tracks of more than 200 Australian films during the past 40 years.
At Brownies Sports Luncheon at The Chinahouse Seafood Restaurant in Fortitude Valley, Peter will share the stage with MC Dick Marks, the renowned former Wallaby star.
Tickets for the sumptuous nine-course banquet are $100 each, with only 260 tickets available.
