We invite you to support our two spectacular annual fundraising events:
- the Classic Wallabies Rugby Luncheon, and
- our Gala Fundraising Dinner.
The annual Classic Wallabies Rugby Luncheon has raised more than $350,000 since it began in 2006. The event provides a great opportunity to meet and dine with some of Australia’s greatest rugby union legends during a 4.5 hour luncheon.
In 2009, our inaugural Gala Fundraising Dinner helped launch Spinal Injuries Awareness Week. The night was a huge success with nearly $30,000 raised and importantly, overwhelmingly positive feedback from all our guests. They appreciated the many highlights of the night. Lisa Hunt, who has performed with Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, Macy Gray and shared a stage with Pavarotti, also kept the audience dancing with her Motown and soul tunes.
This year, the gala dinner will be at Brisbane’s Hilton Hotel on Saturday, 13 November to once again commemorate Spinal Injuries Awareness Week. It promises to be a night to remember with one guest at every table to win a fantastic prize in our giant raffle, and Lisa Hunt returning to perform by popular demand. More details coming soon …
