Cruise for a Cause 2010

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Cruise for a Cause to commemorate the start of Spinal Injuries Awareness Week (7-13 November 2010). Almost $5,000 was raised from the event thanks to generous sponsors.

More than 120 classic vehicles – from hot rods and utes to custom cars and bikes – gathered at Willows Shoppingtown, Townsville before cruising to Strand Park where they attracted interest from the public.

Association member Scott Stidston, and his wife Lisa, attracted plenty of media attention when they skydived into The Strand, Townsville to jump start Cruise for a Cause. Watch a TV news story about Scott’s skydive here.
